With winter on its way here, I'm re-starting Zoom talks covering aspects hard to cover during a tour. First up is Assoc Prof Nic Coetzer talking about Cape Dutch architecture's Arts & Crafts' revival during the South Africa's Union and the British Empire. Images range from Glasgow (see above) to Groot Constantia, there's even a cartoon lampooning Herbert Baker. Anyone with an interest in social history, politics, buildings and heritage will enjoy this (architects get CPD points). More info.
