Radio communication and Radio communication and the origins of the NSRI - Talk by Paul Johnson

This week our Guest Speaker Paul Johnson, a radio amateur enthusiast, will tell us about his 3 week expedition to Tristan da Cunha after travelling there aboard SA Agulhas II in 2014. He will also present to us about radio communication, and give a short history of the origins of the NSRI.  Finally he will give us an understanding about well-known people involved in amateur radio around the world.

  • Date: Thursday 18 May
  • Venue: The Ship Society rooms are in Duncan Road opposite the Cruise Terminal in Cape Town Harbour
  • Time: Doors open at 7.30 pm and we start at 8.00 pm.
  • Price: Visitors are very welcome at R30pp (cash only)
