The memorial stone on the attached photograph is in the garden at the Netcare Garden City Hospital. Who was Verity Digna Sharp? Information is currently limited to what you can read on the memorial stone. Netcare Property Holdings wishes to relocate the memorial stone and exhume the ashes of the deceased for the expansion of the ICU facilities at the hospital. But before that can happen, the proper processes needs to be followed.
A call is herewith made on any relative or person who have information on the deceased, to contact West Rand Heritage Consultants at info@wrhc.co.za to share information and or to comment on the proposed relocation of the memorial stone and exhumation of the ashes.
