DijonDesign is a heritage, museum and exhibition design consultancy based in Cape Town, South Africa. We specialise in all aspects of museum and exhibition development from concept to installation. We also work on projects requiring in-depth historical research and writing (from web copy to books and reports); digital, 3D and virtual reality interactives; online exhibitions; graphic design and marketing; educational materials; research facilitation; and training in curation, conservation, design, and archiving.
 
Our team has decades of collective experience in concept development, design, research, writing, education, and exhibition manufacture and installation. We believe in the power of good storytelling – whether visual, verbal, digital, or experiential – to make the richness and significance of heritage, arts and culture come alive for a wide range of audiences.

Previous and current projects include full content development for the Lesotho National Museum and Art Gallery; The Attic permanent exhibition at City Hall, Cape Town; virtual exhibitions for the Western Cape Government, Iziko Museums and the Desmond and Leah Tutu Foundation; heritage-based urban placemaking New Brighton, Gqeberha; book research and writing on the history of the Iziko South African Museum; digital archiving; and many more.
