This tour is led by Kensington resident and registered guide Peter Geach. It explores a fascinating corner of Kensington, one of Johannesburg’s oldest and largest suburbs, established in 1897 by Max Langermann. Highlights include the Scottish Horse war memorial (pictured above), Jeppe Boys’ and Girls’ schools, Kensington Castle and the story of the famous Foster Gang.

The tour begins at 2pm and will finish between 4h30 and 5pm, starting and ending at the Kensington Bowling Club on Ivanhoe Street.
