The South African Rock Art Museum at the Origins Centre is a boutique museum that attracts a niche audience of foreign and local visitors. It is the public face of the Rock Art Research Institute and plays an important role in describing the unique rock art of South Africa. It is the only dedicated rock art museum in southern Africa.
Applications are invited for appointment to a full time permanent position of Curator in the Origins Centre within the School of Geography, Archaeology and Environmental Studies
The main purpose of this position is to oversee the curatorship of the OC: To curate objects and intellectual content of temporary and permanent exhibitions at the Origins Centre.
