I am looking to make contact with the few surviving Sestigers (click here to view Wikipedia page) in order to record their experiences of the Group and their participation in the Group. The Sestigers originated in Cape Town but spread over the country. I don’t believe there is a public area that celebrates what they stood for and what was achieved. If sufficient information and memorabilia can be obtained, the idea is then to have it displayed here in Cape Town, possibly next to the Erik Laubscher Art Gallery. Erik was part of the Group together with his wife Claude.
