Ungasali is a storytelling festival that is annually hosted by Freedom Park Heritage in Pretoria. Every year in March the organization invites the public and institutions to come and listen to stories of history, culture, and spirituality as they are presented by different professional and upcoming storytellers from around the world and nationally.
It has taken place for six consecutive years where over 20 thousand South Africans experienced vibrant content-rich storytelling performances. Likewise, the 2020, 7th Ungasali festival is around the corner and a large number of people is expected to attend. It will take place at Freedom Park venues on Saturday March 07, preceded by outreach programs in schools, institutions, communities etc. – from 2 to 6 March.
