I am a postgraduate student at UCT doing my Masters in Philosophy specialising in the Conservation of the Built Environment. Does anyone have any information on the history and architecture of the Orlando Power Station (from the original complex of buildings to any future additions and alterations)? The power station is famous for its cooling towers (as a landmark), known as the Soweto towers/ Orlando towers.
