The Old Pretoria East Residents Association (OPERA) has reported that the Council of the City of Tshwane is repainting the roof of the Old Pretoria City Hall using inappropriate methods. This has led to the damage of the Kirkness tiles that the roof is made of. OPERA has informed the Provincial Heritage Resources Authority Gauteng.
