Does anyone know the history of 'Hen & Chicken'

Notice Expiry:

I just bought a property in Upper Claremont in the Hen & Chicken area. I know the Hen & Chicken has a very old history and there are many theories about how the area got its name. Would anyone from the community have some more information on the history of the area.
