We are busy with a reroofing project where we will be replacing the old âMonk and Nunâ tiles. The undertaking with PHRA-G was that the intact tiles would be carefully removed and made available for other heritage projects where repairs are required. The reason for their replacement is that the repairs would exceed the cost of full replacement with an aesthetically suitable alternative. It would therefore be a waste to simply destroy the tiles without trying to re-cycle them.
Would anyone from the community be interested?
