Kate Otten Architects

We are design driven architects with a particular interest in the adaptive re-use of existing and heritage buildings. Some of the projects we have worked on include the Women's Jail Living Museum at Constitution Hill, the restoration of the historic home and insertion of a new Office Garden Pavilion at Gabriel's Garden - a national monument; the restoration of the Robert Sobukwe Great Hall at Wits University as well numerous other projects on campus.

We are currently the architects for the Wits Planetarium which is being re-scripted as a Digital Dome as well as new education and sporting facilities.
