I was asked by a genealogist in Germany to find out why there is a place, river or hotel called Kratzenstein near Harrismith as he has Kratzenstein ancestors. I saw on your website that Mr SJ de Klerk wrote about the cemetery in Harrismith so hopefully someone will know what this Kratzenstein is!
