African Conservation Trust (ACT)

The African Conservation Trust (ACT) is an established non-profit and public benefit organisation that has been operating in southern Africa since 2000. A core focus of our heritage work is the digital preservation of historic sites through 3D laser scanning, photogrammetry and image enhancement and we work with a network of specialist partners in the fields of drone photography, archaeology and research. We also work on socio-economic upliftment initiatives for communities living in close proximity to heritage and conservation sites; as well as the facilitation of community conservation planning.
