Good day Friends After the successful and most fascinating tour through the Sonop Manskoshuis in Brooklyn we have the pleasure to announce another tour: the famous Jansen House in Struben Street, Pretoria. The Department of Basic Education have invited us to visit the house and the main building beyond. The person who so kindly invites you is the Director: Asset, Events and Conference Management, Mr Johan Visser, under whose watchful eye and great enthusiasm this Victorian residence is used and maintained.
Hear the love-hate story of the turbulent years of this beautiful legacy of ours, how the bulldozers were ready to move in and a happy ending, for you to admire.
