The Department of Arts and Culture in conjunction with its entity, the National Heritage Council of South Africa, is hosting the Summit to facilitate a broad consultative approach in developing a coherent strategy for the country, in collaboration with Southern African countries, to have a common continental agenda in preserving and protecting the rich heritage of the liberation heritage.
