A colleague and I are looking for one or two South African research assistants, to help us assess the feasibility of an exciting new project studying the chieftancy in South Africa. Initially the work will be very short term, but may become more engaged over time.

- Preferably university educated,
- Good command of written and spoken English, and excellent command of spoken Zulu or Xhosa (or potentially another South African language other than Afrikaans).
- Must be able to figure out transportation.
- Being in KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape, Limpopo, or Mpumalanga would be an advantage.

Anyone interested can get in touch at ddekadt@mit.edu.
