The Fish Hoek Valley Historical Association will hold its AGM on Thursday 9 February 2017 in the library hall, Fish Hoek. After the meeting, historian and author, Dan Sleigh will give a talk titled Buitepos Vishoek, based on his book Die Buiteposte/The Outposts. The talk will focus on the former VOCâs outposts in present-day Western Cape and highlight Vishoekâs provisioning role as well as the former poshuis on present-day Jagerâs Walk.
The event commences at 18h00 and will be concluded by 19h30, guest speakerâs presentation included.
Fee: Members: R5-00. Non members: 10-00.
