Winnie Mandela House Brandfort

Various sources state that funds were allocated in 2005 to transform Winnie Mandela's House in Brandfort into a museum. Instead of restoration, the property was abandoned and fell into a state of ruin. Numerous stories on the neglected state of the property appeared in the press over the years. It appears as though new funding has been allocated (2017) and the museum plans are being revived. Please use this thread to add background and updates.
