My uncle,  Victor Alexander Cohen painted the mayors of Johannesburg Portraits as a 16 or 17 year old in the early 1930s before taking up a scholarship in London. I have tried to find copies of them when on holiday in South Africa but to no avail. Would anyone from the community be able to assist?

We descend from the Du Preez family and I have been collecting information on them in South Africa for a few years. Victor also painted the portrait of H A Jack, and I have seen it hanging in the foyer of the school. I also have lots of old photos of Jhb and posters by my grandfather of King George (when Prince of Wales) visited Jhb as well as an invite to the tea party.

Hope someone can assist.
