Starts at 10am Saturday 22nd February 2020 at the Cosmopolitan Hotel corner Albrecht & Commissioner. This tour is great for taking photos and learning about history.   • traditional herbalist shops
  • the oldest Lithuanian Shul in JHB : 1903 -1926
  • scene of the Jeppestown massacre ; 2006
  • the Jeppestown synagogue : 1926 - 2002
  • the Salisbury building :1903
  • the School of Practical Philosophy
  • the Mentis Building ( Art Nouveau )


We return to the Maboneng Precinct for lunch at any of the many restaurants in the Maboneng Precinct (lunch is at your own expense)
