SAVE THE DATE! - Friday 07 April 2017 - Sunday 09 April 2017. Exciting plans are in progress to host an Anglo Boer War weekend at The Lord Milner, Matjiesfontein, Karoo, South Africa. A hand-selected, boutique collection of speakers will present a series of talks on the subject. A walking tour, led by eminent historian Dr Dean Allen - Author of Empire, War and Cricket in South Africa, will explore the unique Victorian town and its many fascinating links to the Anglo Boer War, ...including the final resting place of General Wauchope.
