Prolific architect William (Billy) Grant is best know for his Art Deco office facades in central Cape Town. But his work is much broader than this. Town planner, Tommy Brümmer, has been trying to find and photograph all of Grant's buildings. For me there are some surprises, such as this home on Main Rd, Muizenberg, designed in 1914 for John Garlick (department store entrepreneur).
