Full of history and extraordinary stories, the Castle of Good Hope is our focus on Sat 23 April for Jeanne Bonnema's superb social history tour. While the Castle is in central Cape Town, it feels a world a way. We start at 10am, at the main entrance, which is like an old gateway in a Dutch city. We finish at the recently opened Cape Muslim and Slave Heritage Museum, hosted by Igshaan Higgins, its founder and curator. The tour finishes at noon, but we hope you'll join us for lunch afterwards organised by Igshaan who will tell us about his museum over lunch.

  • Tour costs R250 each pay by 13 April, otherwise R330; payment options below.
  • R150 extra for lunch - Cape Malay veg curry and rice; tea, coffee or cool drink. Plus the Castle's entry fee: R50 adults, R25 South African pensioners and students.
  • Available as a private tour - let me know when would suit you.
  • Email Kate to book - kate@cultureconnectsa.com
