The NHC in collaboration with UNISA, will host a Colloquium in commemoration of Heritage Month, to discuss how South Africans can reclaim, restore and preserve these various aspects of living heritage to accelerate the use of living heritage to address challenges communities are facing today.

The panel of speakers include: 

• Mama Baleka Mbete ~ Former Speaker of the National Assembly of South Africa
• Mr Mosebudi Mangena ~ Former President of AZAPO
• Mr Souayibou Varissou ~ Africa World Heritage Fund Executive Director
• Ms Jane Mufamadi ~ Chief Executive Officer of Freedom Park 
• Dr Graham Dominy ~ NHC Council Member
