Jeanne Bonnema's fabulous history tour of the Castle of Good Hope 10am on Sat 23 April has a new option there afterwards at noon - lunch especially catered for us at newish Cape Muslim and Slave Heritage Museum, hosted by its founder, Igshaan Higgins (pictured). Jeanne's carefully researched and paced tour includes walking on the ramparts, popping into the provost and William Fehr collection.

  • R250 each if you pay by 13 April, otherwise R330; payment options below. Plus the Castle's entry fee - R50 adults, South African pensioners and students R25; free for tourist guides. 
  • R150 lunch Cape Malay veg curry and rice; tea, coffee or cool drink
