Come in and celebrate INTERNATIONAL MUSEUMS DAY with us on THURSDAY 18TH MAY 2017 and participate in discussions and hear talks on HISTORY THAT HURT. We will be addressing the Forced Removals that took place in and around Cape Town and also from Simons Town to Ocean View. How people's lives were impacted and how they have dealt with this. There will also be discussions around the important role that the Museum can play as a cultural centre.

The Museum will be open from 9.00 to 19.30 no entrance charge but donations gratefully accepted. Light refreshments will be served throughout the day.
