Something interesting coming up at Casa Labia. This Sunday 6 August at 11.00 am the Muizenberg Historical Conservation Society will be hosting two presentations on the Battle of Muizenberg, it being the 222nd anniversary of that scuffle. Peter Harrison will talk about the different interests of the various European countries in what happened at the Cape, and Chris Taylor will follow with a colourful and entertaining talk about the battle itself. The Labia itself is built on the epicentre of the action.

Entry is R50 for non-members, free for members, and as membership is R50 you may as well sign up and get in for free. Wine will be served.
