A contract position of a Collections Assistant – Archaeology exists at Amafa aKwaZulu-Natali. The position is held at Amafa Head Office in Pietermaritzburg.

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in archaeology and experience in data capturing.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Knowledge of archaeological collections management.
  • Basic knowledge of SAHRIS.

DUTIES

  • Accessioning, data capture and storage of objects in the archaeological collection of Amafa aKwaZulu-Natali.

SALARY

  • R8000.00 (no benefits)
  • Contract position
