My roots go to back to Graaff-Reinet. In my quest for information on my great grandfather and details of his life and death in the town, I would like to speak to a local historian. My great grandfather was a man of mixed race and would have been treated for an infectious disease before he died in 1904. The usual research platforms have provided only limited information.

Can anyone from the community refer me to someone with a sound knowledge of local history to enlighten me? I plan to visit the town as soon as pandemic restrictions permit.
