Van Biljon Barnardo Architects

The practice was founded by Peet van Biljon in 1992 and became van Biljon & Visser Architects in 1994. The name was changed to van Biljon Barnardo Architects in 2008. Over the past two and a half decades the practice focused on the designs of mostly new buildings that were designed in contemporary Cape and Cape vernacular styles. With the interest of the partners in the historic built form, designs were always sympathetic towards the heritage of the structures. Hence the practice has over the years been involved in several restoration projects.
