Chasing Dreams Publishing is excited to announce the official launch of Dominic Brooke and Elaine Rose Thorne's debut poetry and art collection: People of the Bridge. This elegantly curated work stems from the mixed heritage of poet and painter. Their pieces describe a particular country of the mind, a liminal space that brings Irish Renaissance literature to current perspectives. They are a journey from the Celtic twilight to life in modern South Africa as seen through the lens of an Irish, Scots and Southern African heritage.
The paintings and photographs each have their own narrative quality which accompany the poems, and the curators of this collection hope to plant seeds with stories from personal experience and imagination.
