Between the 1970s and 80s my mom was a registered nurse at the Jakaranda Hospital (I believe it was also called the Magnolia Clinic). We lived in the staff apartments adjacent to the hospital. Then it was called 'Ambassador's'. As a young child at the time, I have wonderful memories of living in these apartments. They were built in the Art Deco style and had a very lovely foyer where you got your mail and walked (or took the lift) to your floor.

I've reached out to Netcare to find out if there is any information available but they haven't been able to assist.

It would be wonderful to hear from anyone with memories, historical details and old photos. I know this is a stretch, but maybe someone knows something.

Thank you in advance.
