PGS Heritage has advertised a couple of vacancies for archaeological faunal specialists to join their team on the Lesotho project. Their main aim of these positions is to systematically sort and then analyse the large faunal assemblage excavated during the project.
Contract period: 6 months
Closing date: 14 April 2022
The positions available:
- 1 x Senior archaeological faunal specialist
- 2 x Junior archaeological faunal specialist
Qualifications:
Senior archaeological faunal specialist - Masters Level qualification
Junior archaeological faunal specialist - Graduate/Post Graduate qualification in archaeology
Note that the positions will be preferably be based in Gauteng, South Africa.
