Kalk Bay Historical Association

The Kalk Bay Historical Association was founded in 1995. Our area of interest focuses on the villages of St. James and Kalk Bay, but incorporates the wider South Peninsula. Our main aims are the preservation of documents, maps, plans and photographs recording the history of the area. We also have a keen interest in the preservation of buildings of historic interest in the area. The recording of oral histories forms part of our activities. We arrange and host four talks of historic interest every year and these are subsequently published in our Bulletins.
