The Genealogical Society of South Africa's Northern Transvaal branch will host their last meeting of 2018 on 17 November. This year’s closing function will include a host of presentations in the morning, followed by a braai in the afternoon. GSSA President and guest speaker, Simon du Plooy, will talk about his research on the construction of the Gariep Dam and its impact on the surrounding community.
The event will take place at Gallery 20/20 at the Voortrekker Monument in Pretoria, 08:30 – 12:30.
