Just below the South End Museum/ old Seaman's Institute is Girdlestone street. Does anyone remember if there were houses on the southern side of the street, or was that part of the Humewood Rail yard? I'm trying to ascertain the numbers of these two houses! Also is there a move to renovate the houses in this street? My great grandfather lived (1890's) and died (1908) in no4, Girdlestone Street. They do have historical significance as they originally belonged to the PE Harbour Board.
