We are very honoured that Mr Tonie Viljoen (hostel headmaster) and his committee have invited us to visit the 100 year old restored Sonop Mens Hostel, Brooklyn, Pretoria, on Saturday July 23, 2016. Please take your seat at 10:00 in the dining room.

‘Unlike other men's hostels on the University of Pretoria Campus, Sonop is not a large building with passages and many rooms, but consists of small four-roomed houses (mansions) in which students are housed from their second year onward. The green lawns and beautiful gardens that separate the houses create a homely atmosphere.’
