On this Educational Photowalk you will be visiting an Indian Market, Park Station, the old Turbine Hall, the Migrant workers compound, Madiba's 'Shadow Boxer' statue and the Graffiti on the Newtown Bridge. There will be two models provided. Learn posing, light, street, architecture and perspectives - all with incredible backdrops.

We have joined hands with Ishvara from Ancient Secrets and are now offering tours through Jozi’s inner City – combining culture and photography. Ishvara has deep knowledge of the variety of African cultures and history and knows the streets of Jozi intimately.

The Accredited Photographers that are instructing are Peter Hassall (National President SA Pro Photographers) Leanne Dryburgh (Western Cape Manager of SA Pro Photographers). Together they have been successfully teaching photograohy through their brand - thephotowalkerscom - since 2013.

Date and time: Sunday 20 August. 09h30 – 13h45 (including travel time) - Please meet there by 09h30 the latest for a briefing. The transport will leave at 09h45 sharp

Meeting Place: Killarney Mall Medical Mews parking lot – off Killarney Avenue which is off Riveria Road. This parking lot is the second entrance that takes you up the ramp onto the first floor. We will be providing shared transport in and out of Newtown.

Number of people: A maximum of 20 people – so early booking is advisable. If this workshop is full, we will indicate here. Non-photographers are welcome at the same price as photographers.

Cost: R650.00 per person. No discounts are applicable to this workshop.

What to Bring:  All comfirmed bookings will recieve an email with recomendations on camera gear to bring. Thephotowalkers.com team will help you choose what is best to bring from your bag!  Cash for shopping. Comfortable, closed walking shoes and weather related clothing. (The inner city can get cold). No handbags or backpacks please. Tripods not neccessary.
